Hello! We are Beau and Bailey Hovorka. We started our own travel nursing agency in 2021 and have spent the last 4+ years traveling the country, growing our family and faith, and developing the IV Guardian!

Beau is an RN with over a decade of healthcare experience, specializing in Medical/Surgical Care. Early in his career, he saw a need to increase patient satisfaction and relieve the burden on nurses in regards to IV therapy. It started with a high frequency in AC IV placement and lack of effective and tolerable interventions to improve the patency of these IVs. Utilizing available materials in supply rooms, he worked to develop a system that is simple and effective, promoting comfort and range of motion for the patient. After 8 years of trial and error, the IV Guardian was born!

We are thrilled to share this device with healthcare providers and their patients! We believe by focusing on IV comfort and care, the IV Guardian can assist in creating an environment that makes the overall hospital experience far more comfortable for patients requiring an IV.
